1/2 DAY WORKSHOP at the Creative Arts School at Old School link you are one of the millions of iPhones owners out there who have never considered using your phone for serious photography, now is the time! This class, taught by Raymond Gehman, will introduce you to the superb camera in your iPhone 6, 7, 8, X, and XS. Your little, compact camera/phone will open for you a huge visual world of travel photography, spontaneous moments, personal art, and close family moments. Your time in this quarterly workshop begins with a hands-on demonstrations and concludes with a local photo shoot. You will first learn how to use the native camera features, including; HDR, Color and Monochromatic filters, the Panoramic feature, three different video features, and the in-phone photo editor. And as much fun as the iPhone camera is to shoot with, the post-editing process can be also be a creative kick-in-the-pants, as expressive and artistic as you like. There is a large variety of apps that allow the photographer to do a quality edit, create oil and watercolor paintings, vintage tintypes, funky snapshots, and surreal dreamscapes! The participant will be given a list of apps to download before the workshop.
